We had such a great time at Dusodie Holiday Farm this weekend. There was so much to explore, the kids loved feeding the animals, collecting the eggs and picking fruit off the trees. The river was spectacular and we had so much fun in the row boat. We loved waking up to the birds and cows mooing and Xena the dog was such a hit with the kids. The cottage was perfect for our two families and was toasty warm with the fire. The outdoor fire was great for roasting marshmallows and relaxing. A great place to get away to, we will definitely be back. We also did a lovely walk to Jerusalem Falls which was recommended by Jenni. Thanks for letting us share your little bit of paradise Jenni and Phil and for a few days and being such awesome hosts.

You have made me so happy and I will always remember the fun times at the farm and the creek with you. I will never forget the memories that have been and will come because it is a memory that will last forever. PS: I never want to leave. PPS: If you ever need help around the farm I am here. From Olivia

I am so grateful. I cant stop smiling!! This is my home away from home. I really enjoy spending time with you, Phil and the animals!! Since the first time I came here (2014), I came home crying, not wanting to leave, and that has happened every time since then!! I have always thought of you as my Auntie. I will always remember the wonderful memories of the days at the farm and spending time with you. I am always happy to be your regulars!! Georgia

What a fantastic time we had! We stayed here for 7 nights and enjoyed all of the benefits of a wonderful and activity filled family holiday. We stayed in the cabin with our two children (6 years and 9 years). We used the BBQ often and the outdoor fire pit every night. The cabin is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. We collected eggs, fed the goats ,sheep, cattle, horse, chickens, turkeys, guinea foul, and guinea pigs. We regularly had the company of Phill and Jenni's beautiful dog, Xena, especially whenever we went for a swim or play by the creek. We tried yabbie trapping for the first time and were pleased that alll of us held them. With all of the fun the property provides, we were kept busy and very content the whole week and never got bored. We even checked out the town of Dungog, which was lovely despite the information centre being more like a lack-of-information-centre. Honestly, we got much more success with information of things to see and do from Jenni and Phill (who even drew us up a mud map) than the vague possible ideas but not so sure dottiness of the information centre people. We explored in the Barrington Tops National Park and saw the Dam. I can't thank Jenni and Phill enough for the wonders of their hospitality and everything they do for people who visit. It takes a very kind person to unite families so well.

Wow what a fab place to go with kids.. We had 5 kids from 7 to 13 on arrival all electronics were confiscated and not missed to be honest. so much to do and experience. Explore the farm, river and feed the animals. Bonfire at night with singalongs and toasting marshmallows. The country sounds blended perfectly with the rolling hills and gorgeous sunsets. Will be visiting again.. many thanks to Jen and the girls for your hospitality and welcoming smiles.. thank you again xx

Jenni was such a great host and really made our family feel welcome. My baby brother loved every minute of the experience and my parents have not stopped talking about it since our return. We cant wait to come back for another break away from home.. By the way we Miss MEEERA :) She was a personal tour guide the whole trip!

We would agree with all the previous comments. Peaceful, fun, educational, safe and incredible value. The cabin was warm, well equipped and picturesque. It was delughtful watching the birds in the morning and my 19 month squeeled with joy when feeding the animals and petting the cows. It was the perfect weekend for Mum and toddler.

We stayed for the June long weekend and had a ball. Two families with 4 girls aged 8-13 yrs. Each morning the kids were up early and outside in the fresh air. They loved the farm animals and yabbying in the dam. We all enjoyed the outdoor fire and the relaxing atmosphere. We'll be back.

My partner and I chose Dusodie for our one year Anniversary! It was romantic, cuddling by the outdoor fire; fun feeding and snuggling all the gorgeous animals (baby guinea pigs were the highlight!); peaceful strolling along the creek and paddling around in the canoe; relaxing while sitting in a chair enjoying a beer overlooking the cow dotted hills. Jenni was so lovely and hospitable, informative and patient with our little one? THANK YOU, WE WILL BE BACK xx

We had such a wonderful weekend! It was Shelley's (1 yrs old) first holiday since she has started walking and I've never seen her so excited to get her shoes on and out the door every morning! Jenny was so welcoming and we absolutely loved feeding the animals every day. We can't thank you enough for the experience you gave us particularly Shelley who loved everything especially the goats and the bunnies (even if she tried eating their carrots). Thank you for a lovely farm stay experience.

Our farm stay exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to see my son put down technology (iPad) and learn about life on a farm. Jenni was just lovely and welcomed us all. My son was excited about helping Jenni with the farm chores and didn't want to leave. I will definatley recommend this lovely place to friends to enjoy a relaxing weekend away from the hustle of our everyday lives . Thanks jenni x

The perfect getaway to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Our kids had the best time ever, and didn't want to leave . It was great for them to be able to explore the farm and interact with the animals. the kids were able to experience a sense of freedom and independence that they do not get living in a city environment. Thankyou jenni and family for your open hospitality . Great holiday memories to cherish

Cabin is delightful. I'm guessing an old dairy or similar. Concrete up to waist height, heavy duty chains bolted to the wall. A holding yard at the front of the converted dairy with a cattle run from the road. From the rear are acres and acres of undulated, well rested paddocks and seriously old fencing still standing proud. The air is fresh like cut grass and the native birds voices fill the void of the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. The cows, sheep, goats and chickens authenticate the rural pleasure. Uncomplicated, simple and easy to love. Enthusiastic and charming hosts make our stay more enviable. Just beautiful. We are blessed.

Just back from Dusodie, the whole family had a great time. The kids loved the farm animals, going yabbying, swimming in the river. The farm is well located to Dungog and the Barrington Tops. Thanks Jenni, we can't wait to get back there next year.

We took our 2 boys (5 & 3) to Dusodie Holiday Farm and we all loved it! The boys spent every waking moment outdoors and didn't want to leave. Our 3 yr old asks me every other day 'when can we go back on our farm holiday?' Thanks Jenni & Phil for your hospitality and for a wonderful holiday experience. We hope to be back very soon!

We had the fortune of spending a weekend over at Dusodie Farm. We were all taken by the place: it's tranquility, scenic views and the good spirit of the proprietor, Jenny. The most impressive evidence to this effect was our children (8+5), who did not want to leave. For me, one of the best experiences at Dusodie was leisurely dosing-off next to the fire outside. The cottage we've stayed-in catered to all our expectations. I'd note though that for me, what makes Dusodie special is Jenny: Jenny gave me the feeling that she really cares for us as her guests. Thank you, Jenny, and all your lovely family, for a memorable visit :)

Absolutely loved our time at Dusodie Holiday farm. We took our two boys (6rs and 2yrs) and a friend for our 6 yr old and the three boys were in heaven! We didn't even see the 6 yr olds over the weekend, they just ran off and played all weekend, such a fun and safe environment for them. Swimming in the pristine river, feeding the animals, collecting fresh eggs and toasting marshmallows at night on the campfire........a perfect weekend for a family! Thank you Jenny we had a brilliant time.

We have been coming back to Dusodie holiday farm for 10 years, absolutely love the relaxing atmosphere. Jenni and Phill always go out of their way to make the stay great. There's something for all of us; Beers and BBQ around the fire at night, swimming and fishing in the river and feeding the animals. My husband, kids and I just love it! Thankyou for all the great holidays and memories!
